Internet Space Captain Competition

To win this week's competition you will need to answer TWO questions...
Go to: http://effects.if.tv/gm/tama/tama.swf and play the Tama Game.

Then, answer this question...

Q: How many black pits appear on level 20?

NEXT, answer this question...

Q: What is the first number to be spelt in alphabetical order?

E-mail your answers through to lordbiggus@gmail.com. The first person through with the correct answer WINS Internet Space Captain status for this week.

Your prize will be the O'Joy6000 Biggus Video Collection on DVD (3rd Ed.) and a rasberry twist.

Answers posted on the blog will not be accepted. If I have not announced a winner under the comments for this post, then you can assume the competition is STILL ON!

-Rich

p.s. It has now been TWO days since I posted this and no one has won it yet. I will through in a bag of M&Ms to spur you on. To those of you who sent e-mails asking for hints about the second question I will say only this... it's not 'nineteen'.

LORD WEEKLY MOVIE REVIEWS

The Rating System:
5/5... Epic: A triumphant use of celluloid. A MUST SEE!
4/5... Fantastic: A bloody good film with only a few weaknesses.
3/5... Neat-O: Passes the time satisfyingly but then again so does Seseme St.
2/5... Meh: Better than a kick in the pants.
1/5... Tragic: Give me that kick in the pants.

Film: Lucky Number Slevin
Rating: 4/5 - Neil

Film: Poseidon
Rating: 3/5 - Neil

Film: Hollow Man 2
Rating: 3/5 - Neil

Film: Speed
Rating: 5/5 - Naomi
Other Ratings: 4/5 - Richard
Director: Jan de Bont
Stars: Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, Dennis Hopper
Reviewer Comment: No matter what any one says about Speed it is great movie - pure entertainment - loved it, yes watching it now it seems very cliche but who cares, it even won two oscars... ok not for acting but still!
Favourite Quote: "Pop quiz asshole, a mad man's holding a gun to the hostage's head, what do you do, what do you do?"
Trivia: The role of Annie was meant for Ellen DeGeneres - imagine that, the chemistry would never have worked really what were they thinking!

Film: Trust the Man
Rating: 2/5 - Pippa
Reviewer Comment: I was offered free tickets to see a preview of this movie, so I went. Best part of the movie - that I didn't feel like I'd wasted my money paying to see it and the cinema had really cool red curtains that hung from the roof to the floor. I had to do some research to review this movie because I couldn't even remember what it was called. I did enjoy Julianne Moore though, kept waiting for the X-Files theme to play when David Duchovny was on. I would sign off 'enjoy' but i don't think you will.

Film: Go!
Rating: 3/5 - Isaac
Reviewer Comment: This semi mystery film is interesting because it tells the story three times from three points of view. The outrageous titty flashing stunts are not really needed, but hey.

Film: Renaissance

Rating: 4/5 - Isaac
Director: Christian Volckman
Reviewer Comment: If you like the visuals of Sin City and the Atmosphere of Blade Runner then this film is for you. Comic driven action mystery with cheesy superhero lines in a serious future Paris combine to create a great bit of work.

Film: Brick

Director: Rian Johnson
Rating: 5/5 - Isaac
Reviewer Comment: I went to see it at the International film festival and this film ROCKS. A murder mystery that, with a hint of comedy, pulls you completely in. Great story, great acting and a fantastic headshot! Groovy

Film: Tsotsi
Rating: 4/5 - Richard
Genre: Crime/Drama
Director: Gavin Hood
Review Comment: This is the story of a young gang leader in Johannesburg, who after an unforeseen suprise finds himself on the road to redemption. This film follows his struggle to establish some of kind of base for a new life over six days. It is well shot, and fairly well acted by the lead (some unpronounceable name). I felt that Tsoti's transition from gang member to redeemed youth was too short though and in the end I didn't feel like I had invested my emotions in his journey as much as the story invited. Great film though. It won the Oscar for best foreign film.
