Sophie's Fifth Day

Sophie helps keep her snoring Dad asleep at 6am this morning!

Last night I discovered just how difficult it is to settle a crying baby. I was up until 1am cuddling Sophie to get her to sleep. After a generous feed from Denali, she was knocked out flat and slept until 5:30am. Another feed at 5:45am, another quick cuddle from me, and she continued sleeping soundly until 10:35am. Another feed, another cuddle and Sophie slept through until 4:45pm. Another feed, another cuddle... and she is still asleep at 7:15pm.

Denali also slept for the entire afternoon while I "looked after" Sophie and watched 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' and 'Napoleon Dynamite' (for the tenth time). Denali now says that she is not very tired today. She is definitely looking much better and her c-section scar is healing well.

So, not much really happened today. Oh, Sophie did poo herself once and did weese twice. We are using a new nappy system called NapNaps. They are so great and last for 3 children! Probably not worth showing you a photo though.
Sophie will have her second bath tonight... to hopefully knock her out for a good 5 hours or so.

Sophie's youngest friend Andrew now has a blog. I don't know if Sophie has actually met him yet, but she sat on him on Thursday.
