Sophie cuddling Spike the HedgehogDenali and Sophie came home today! We were home by midday. Denali was able to check the blog and her e-mails for the first time and really enjoyed reading your comments. I would get her to write something now, but she has gone out to town with Betty and left me to look after Sophie.
Denali's milk has come in now, so Sophie is sleeping much better. She is currently asleep on the couch, tucked up with a little hedgehog toy. So cute! Anyway, it is great to be in a warm snug house with a healthy little baby at long last. The house is full of flowers and cards and beautiful little outfits that you guys have sent us. So it's quite a cheerful place to be in at the moment.
Please, please, please come up and see us when you have a spare weekend. I am not sure when we can bring Sophie down to you (we will this year though!), so if you have the cash and a spare weekend, then we would absolutely love to see you.
When Denali gets home, I will ask her to write some more. For the meantime, this is Sophie and Rich signing out. I am now going to go and put that hedgehog on her head, just for a laugh. She can't stop me! Hahahahahaaaaaaaa!!!! (mad cackle).

Instead of widdle sophie watching cartoons you should make her watch the thumb movies!
We are sending the great grandparents a DVD of snippets of Denali's labour and immediate post birth footage. Perhaps someone could organise someone to help them view it.
