48HOURS FINAL - RESULTS

One of my mates, Kirk Pflaum won the Chch finals. He did the film entirely on his own, using $300 worth of action figures. He got the genre Action, and did a pisstake of Michael Bay. He also sang his own soundtrack and voiced all the sound fx too. Phenomenal effort, and deserved to win. Very funny too. Definitely has a chance at winning the Grand National Final on July 3rd. His film got nominations across 8 other categories, and won about 5 of them!

And now to our team...

We got three nominations for 'Bust A Move', one of which we won.

I got a nomination for best actor.
We got a nomination for best use of the character (The Perfectionist).
We won for most perfect moment - the scene at the end of our film where our hero does his final dance.

And we got our audience award too.

Those who win the 'Most Perfect Moment' award in each region go into the chance to win $7,100 worth of helicopter filming. The overall winner of this award will probably be announced during the live TV grand national final on July 3rd on C4. I won't be uploading our film to YouTube until the final is over.

Very pleased with the results for our team. This is my second time entering the 48HOUR Film Comp, so I am really stoked this year with the result.
