Because of the immense pain Denali has suffered since Christmas, we have chosen to have an elective c-section. After struggling to get an early booking, we have settled for a date with the surgeons this coming wednesday, 30 January.
Denali has been pretty much bed-ridden for the last three weeks and is now taking codeine. She came close to being hospitalised too, but decided to deal with things at her parents house.
You'll be able to see the first photos and videos of the new baby right here on wednesday evening. We're looking forward to introducing you to him/her soon.
I'll be off work for a week, starting this Wednesday, so anyone who wants to visit us at home is most welcome. Denali will probably be in hospital until the weekend.
